Instructions for Presentations

Oral presentations:

- The presentation slot is strictly limited to 15 minutes, including time for Q&A. Because of the tight schedule, we will have to cut your talk after 15 minutes! We would recommend to have 10 minutes for presentation, and use the rest for Q&A.

- As the schedule is very tight, your presentation must be transferred to the presentation computer before the session starts. We will not allow any change of presentation computers during the sessions!

- Please bring your presentation on a USB stick and copy it on the computer before the session starts, or send it to giresearch@ut.ac.ir no later than one day before the conference.

- The presentation computer will run an English Windows 7 with MS Office Powerpoint 2007, and Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you need additional software, please contact us in advance! The screen resolution will be 1024x768px.

Poster presentations:

- Each presenter is provided with a 90 cm width poster board. The recommended poster size is A0 (70cm x 100cm Portrait).

- The posters must be put on at 8:30 AM on the day of presentation and remain for the whole day. The authors are encouraged to be available for Q&A, especially during the coffee breaks.

- To locate your assigned poster board, look for the board marked with the title of your paper.

- We encourage you to create a colorful and visually engaging poster. Please include the title at the top of the poster, as well as the names of all authors and their institutional affiliations and contact information (usually an email address).
- Everything on the poster, particularly drawings and charts, should be clear and simple to comprehend visually, not requiring any oral explanation. Be sure that your overall message is clear and that adequate background material or results are presented to support the overall message.
